Only used the book a little. The DVD gave me a lot more help. Course presented well. Nigel made things easier and helped me with any difficulties which helped me enjoy the lessons.
Nigel made me feel relaxed because he was relaxed. He was patient when I made mistakes. The lessons were well structured and well delivered and we always had time for a little joke and humour.
I would recommend Nigel to family and friends.

The LDC system was really simple and easy to use; it helped greatly with understanding the different manoeuvres and rules of the road, step by step. I think the system gives you that extra bit of guidance and confidence you wouldn’t find anywhere else. When I started the course I found it extremely simple to follow because of how clearly it was presented to me. It left no confusion and covered everything I needed to know.
Nigel Gill was definitely a great instructor; he makes it really easy to understand the tasks at hand and has confidence in you when you don’t even trust yourself. Not only does he put you at ease, but does allow you to make your own choices and mistakes sometimes – to allow you to learn from them. I definitely recommend the LDC system and especially Nigel to anyone wanting to learn to drive and have told many of my friends about him already.

I'd just like to say a huge thank you to Nigel - I passed my test first time last week. I found him to be a great instructor, with the patience of a saint. You can tell by the way he teaches that he loves his job, and cares about putting safe drivers on the road, not just getting you through your test. As I work full time, I did a semi-intensive course, mostly on evenings, and felt ready for my test at the end. Nigel's encouraging style of teaching gave me the confidence I needed. I'm so pleased to be on the road in just a couple of months. To anyone looking for a top driving instructor with a great sense of humour, Nigel's your man.

I must say that I was very happy with Nigel. He was an excellent instructor who was patient and could explain situations with a lot of precision, so that was easy to understand.
During my lessons I had the feeling that I had somebody next to me who understood and took pride in what he was doing.
The LDC book and DVD helped prepare me to achieve the goals set at the beginning of each lesson. They also helped reduced the amount of time required to explain the next part of the course.
The different types of driving I was made to face during the course increased which kept the excitement going. Nigel spoke well on what further practice I needed and took according steps for me to achieve those goals. I was very well prepared for the practical test and passed the test first time with confidence.
I would recommend Nigel at all times as I was very happy with the style of teaching as well as the value for money aspect.

I thought the course was well structured and tailored to my abilities. I also thought the way the manoeuvres were explained really helped with learning and developing my abilities.
The lessons outside of my test area such as Leeds and Wakefield really improved my ability to handle different situations and traffic levels. I think this contributed to me passing my practical test first time, which was really a bonus at the end of the course.

Nigel was my third driving instructor and was definitely the best. He was very friendly, fun and approachable if I had any problems. I felt very comfortable and safe with him. If I was unsure about anything he would show me over and over how to do it the correct way. He stayed calm even though I wasn’t the easiest learner driver going.
